Yesterday, the US hockey team released the jerseys that will be worn in the upcoming Olympics in Russia. For me, it’s hard to make a bad-looking USA uniform of any kind, and this is no different. I like the simplicity, with sweet small details. The jerseys have “Land of the Free, Home of the Brave” and the years we have won Gold in the Olympics inside the collars of the jerseys. I also love the stars on the shoulders. Big thanks to my friend Jacob Serck for sending these my way.
Inside Report: A whole bunch of one of my favorite new trends in football, 3D bumpers for helmets: Arizona, Florida, Kansas State, Louisville, and USC…The Mets pulled a total Mets move, and traded away Marlon Byrd the day of his t-shirt giveaway game. Smooth…FAU will have these gloves this season…A couple more team trailers: Minnesota and Tulsa, and thanks to Sully for sending in the UNC trailer…UniWatch has a great breakdown of all the changes in college football uniforms…Texas A&M has some sweet new tags for the travel bags, and have added a decal for Polo Manukainiu, who passed away this offseason.
